Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by cameras. As a pre-teen, I can remember begging my mom and dad for a camera for Christmas. I finally managed to find one in the J. C. Penney catalog. The sum was $6 and I was thrilled when I opened it up on Christmas Day.

When I was in the Marine Corps, one of the first things I bought myself was a 35mm SLC camera at the PX. It became a constant companion whenever I travelled.

I used that camera until the 1990’s when I was able to afford a better 35mm with a zoom lens. I still have that camera even though I haven’t used it in the last 4 years.

I finally broke down and bought a Minolta DiMage Z1 digital camera at Wal-Mart 4 years ago and since then I’ve gone nuts. I love digital cameras!

In 2001, we put an addition on our house with lots of windows. I’ve had a ball capturing the wildlife through my office windows.

As time goes on, I’ll be adding more photos, but for now, here’s a teaser.

I’ve added a few pictures to the clay part of the gallery.
