About

Terry holds a BA in Business from National University and an Associates in Business Management from Saint Leo’s College. She is a military veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

I was born and raised in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. As my parents had a farm, nature was always a natural part of life. I always liked to draw as a child, and many of my drawings were of animals.

As a child, my mother taught me to embroider. Attempts at crocheting were a lost cause as she was left handed and I was right. It was only in the 1990’s that I finally learned how to crochet.

From as long as I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed doing something with my hands. Drawing, painting, or needlework satisfied most of my artistic cravings. Then for a number of years, my artwork took a backseat to every day life.

After graduation from high school, I attended secretarial school (which I hated), then went to work for one of the world’s largest insurance companies. After a few years of having to live in the city, I returned home to northern Wisconsin and worked as a secretary, waitress, factory worker and on a newspaper.

In 1972, I enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps. I spent 15 years in the Corps and met and married my husband there.

Now I’m back to my true home in the northwoods where every day I am blessed to be able to enjoy all the glory of Mother Nature.
